This page outlines how Toughcover container shelters are delivered, collected, handled, and returned. Please read carefully before placing an order to ensure a smooth delivery to your site.
To ensure the safest and most cost-effective delivery, we strongly recommend having a forklift on-site for unloading.
● Avoid Extra Costs: Having your own forklift is the best way to avoid "specialized vehicle surcharges" or "failed delivery fees" from freight carriers.
● Site Efficiency: A forklift allows the driver to unload your crate safely from the side of the truck in minutes, placing it exactly where you need it.
● Access: Customers must ensure clear and safe access for large delivery vehicles with adequate space for unloading at the kerbside.
We understand that not every workshop or farm has a forklift standing by. If you do not have unloading equipment, you must notify our team before dispatch.
● Specialized Unloading: We can coordinate delivery with specialized unloading equipment to lower the crate safely to the ground.
● Important Note: This service is subject to carrier availability and will incur additional specialized handling charges.
Once your crate is on the ground, you don't need a 5-ton machine to move it.
● Smart Crate Design: Every Toughcover kit is delivered in a steel-reinforced crate featuring integrated standard fork pockets.
● Easy Handling: This design ensures the unit is fully compatible with both forklifts and pallet jacks. You can easily maneuver the crate around your workshop or any flat, hard-stand area once it is grounded.
Customers may choose to skip the freight costs by arranging a warehouse pickup or self-collection.
● Vehicle Suitability: You must ensure your vehicle or trailer is capable of safely carrying the load. Each crate is 224-265cm long and 110cm wide, and 300-1400kgs depends on models. Ensure your tray or trailer can accommodate this size and weight.
● Loading Assistance: We provide Free forklift loading for all pickups from our Melbourne warehouse.
● Arrangements: Pickup locations and times will be advised after order confirmation. Please contact us 24 hours before arrival to confirm collection details.
● Inspect on Arrival: Customers must inspect goods immediately upon delivery or pickup.
● Visible Damage: If there is damage, note it clearly on the delivery receipt before signing , take clear photos , and notify Toughcover within 48 hours.
● Claims: Claims are assessed based on carrier documentation. Replacement parts may be supplied where applicable.
6. Returns Policy
Due to the size and nature of our products, returns are accepted only under limited circumstances.
● Change of Mind: Returns may be considered within 14 days if the product is unused and in its original, unopened packaging.
● Fees: Return freight is the responsibility of the customer. A 20% restocking fee may apply.
● Exclusions: We cannot accept returns for used, partially installed, or custom-made items.
