Product Introduction

1. Two Options, One Tough Frame

The end of a 12-metre wide shelter is a big opening. Leave it unsealed and you've got weather, dust, and security issues on a 72–144m² structure. Seal it wrong and the frame won't hold in a storm.

These end wall kits are purpose-built for the TS1206(3m) and TS1212(3m) series. Pick the one that suits your site:

· Door End Wall — Manual winch roll-up door for drive-through vehicle and machinery access

· Full Panel End Wall — Solid PVC enclosure for maximum weather protection and site security

Both use the same 76 x 2.5mm heavy-wall galvanised steel uprights. Both include 2 windows and 610gsm white PVC. Both come with a 2-year frame and fabric warranty.

2. Door End Wall — Manual Winch Roll-Up

When you need to drive machinery in and out, the roller door is the one. A hand-operated winch lifts the full-width PVC curtain clear of the opening — no forks required, no power supply needed.

Door clearance:

· On GP containers: 5.0m high x 4.0m wide

· On High Cube containers: 5.3m high x 4.0m wide

That clears most standard agricultural machinery, plant equipment, and wide-body vehicles without issue.

4. Why 76 x 2.5mm Steel on a 12-Metre End Wall

A 12-metre wide end wall is a large wind sail. The wider the opening, the more lateral force the frame has to absorb when the wind is pushing directly at the end of the shelter.

Most budget end walls use 60mm or 1.5mm tube for the uprights. We use 76 x 2.5mm — the same heavy-wall spec as the main shelter arches — because the end wall takes the same wind load as the rest of the structure, and it should be built to match.

5. Thermal & Light Performance

Both end walls use white 610gsm PVC and include two windows. White is stocked as standard because it reflects the Australian sun rather than absorbing it — keeping your workspace noticeably cooler than dark or grey alternatives. The windows let natural light in without opening the wall to weather.

6. Delivery & Logistics

Both kits are stocked in our Melbourne warehouse and available for Australia-wide delivery or depot pickup.

At 385–400kg, both kits require a forklift for unloading. Each ships in a steel-reinforced crate with integrated fork pockets. Once grounded, a pallet jack is sufficient for moving around a hard-stand site.

● Melbourne depot pickup — free forklift loading provided

● Professional installation available — optional extra within Victoria

8. FAQs

Q: What's the difference between the Door End Wall and the Full Panel End Wall? A: The Door End Wall has a manual winch roll-up door that opens to 4.0m wide and 5.0–5.3m high, giving you drive-through access for vehicles and machinery. The Full Panel End Wall is fully enclosed with solid PVC — no door, no moving parts, maximum weather and security protection.

Q: Will the roll-up door clear my machinery? A: On a High Cube container setup, the door opens to 5.3m high x 4.0m wide — enough clearance for most standard agricultural machinery, wide-body vehicles, and heavy plant equipment used on Australian sites.

Q: Why does a 12m end wall need 76 x 2.5mm steel uprights? A: A 12-metre wide end wall presents a large surface area for wind to push against. The 76 x 2.5mm wall thickness gives the uprights the torsional rigidity to resist that load without flexing — the same reason we use this spec on the main shelter arches.

Q: Should I keep the door secured during storms? A: Yes — always close and latch the roll-up door during high-wind events. An open front with a sealed back creates internal pressure buildup that puts additional stress on the roof and frame. Keep both ends secured when the shelter is unattended in bad weather.

Q: Do both end walls fit High Cube containers? A: Yes. Both the Door End Wall and Full Panel End Wall are compatible with 20ft and 40ft containers in both General Purpose (GP) and High Cube (HC) configurations.

Q: Can I add one end wall now and the other end later? A: Absolutely. The mounting system is the same on both ends of the shelter — you can install one end wall now and add the second end whenever you're ready. Mix and match door and full panel on opposite ends if that suits your access requirements.

Q: Is this a DIY kit? A: Yes. Everything connects with standard spanners — no welding required. If you'd prefer someone else to handle it, professional installation is available within Victoria. Contact us for a quote.
